Fight

2020-

We are still surviving. It wasn’t what anyone expected, 2021 is starting out pretty rocky too.

So just, in honor and memory of a 6 week old boy, who lost his life to respiratory and other conditions. Be kind to each other.

And

Fight like hell

I did not have kids to raise them in a country without democracy. I did not have kids to raise them to think anything other than good people, are good people. Skin color, language, religion, background, whatever, be damned.

I did not and will not raise them to be silent to others suffering, injustice, inaction.

So-for our kids, and hopefully the next generations, fight like hell.

Because our kids deserve to grow up in a better world than we did, and if that means things had to be torn down first, to rebuild it better, then so be it. But we better get to rebuilding, because our kids have big things to do and they need a solid foundation to do it.

Call, email, write, march, donate, run for office, join a board, start a conversation, do something, anything to keep the light burning and the fire stoked. Because our kids are depending on us, and I for one, have no plans to let them down.
